As Danna and I take a moment to reflect on this past year, we’re filled with gratitude. Life may not be perfect, but we’re thankful every day for fulfilling work, wonderful clients, and colleagues who make it all worthwhile.

Pamela’s Wish List:

My first wish is for health and happiness for my family. Jon and I both have older parents now, and it’s hard to watch them face the challenges of aging. While they’ve been blessed with good health, time is beginning to take its toll. I wish them continued strength, the best possible health, and moments of joy whenever possible.

On a much less serious note, Jon loves his slippers and wears them constantly at home.  Santa knows this and makes sure he gets a new pair when needed.  He loves the Ugg Scuffs, which I have previously purchased for him in the Deep Ocean color, which seems appropriate with his love of boating.

While browsing, I thought I might ask Santa for a pair of Women’s Classic Ultra Mini Platform. I love my standard Ugg boots, but think this shorter version will be perfect for going to yoga and errands during the winter months.

I really need a good electrician—and with all the Christmas lights, I can’t help but wonder if Santa might lend a hand! I’ve got a light out in my microwave, a few stubborn candelabra bulbs that refuse to stay lit in at least three fixtures, and an outdoor “atomic clock” that must be set to another planet. I enjoy helping clients with their home repairs—it’s clearly time to tackle a few of my own.

And last but not least, I think I’ve been a very good girl this year. I’m absolutely captivated by the Northern Lights, yet despite several trips to Alaska, our destinations have never offered ideal viewing. I’ve decided it’s time to outsource this goal—and this particular adventure looks especially tempting.

That completes my holiday wish list! From family and health to design dreams and twinkling lights, this season is about finding beauty in every detail. Stay tuned—Danna’s holiday wishes are up next, and they’re sure to shine bright.

Danna’s Wish List:

As the year draws to a close and twinkling lights begin to glow, I find myself reflecting on what I truly wish for this Christmas. It’s not just about beautiful gifts (though a stunning piece of art or a luxe cashmere throw never hurts!), it’s about creating beauty and meaning in our homes — and in our lives.

At Pamela Hope Designs, this season always reminds us why we love what we do. Home is where memories are made, where family gathers, and where design becomes deeply personal. So, this year, my Christmas wish list is less about things and more about experiences that inspire joy, comfort, and connection.

Peaceful, Beautiful Spaces

I wish for homes that feel as comforting as they look — spaces where design enhances serenity. Soft lighting, natural textures, and layered neutrals can transform any room into a calm retreat. Whether it’s a reading nook with a view or a bedroom dressed in restful tones, peace at home is the best gift of all.

Nature Indoors

I wish for fresh greenery on every table and garlands draped across every mantel. The scent of pine, rosemary, and cedar adds instant cheer and warmth. Bringing nature inside connects us to the season and reminds us to slow down and savor life’s simple pleasures.

Cozy, Gathered Moments

I wish for dinners that stretch late into the night, candlelight flickering across beautiful table settings, and laughter echoing through open spaces. Thoughtful design can make these gatherings even more special — from inviting layouts to comfortable seating that keeps conversation flowing.

Thoughtful Touches

I wish for homes that tell stories. A curated collection of ornaments, heirloom china, or handmade décor pieces infuses spaces with character and heart. These details remind us that design is not just visual — it’s emotional.

Time Well Spent

And above all, I wish for time. Time with loved ones, time to rest, and time to appreciate the spaces we’ve built together this year. Every home we’ve designed in 2025 has been a story of creativity and collaboration, and we’re endlessly grateful for each one.

From Our Home to Yours

As we prepare for a new year filled with inspiration, the team at Pamela Hope Designs wishes you peace, beauty, and joy this holiday season. May your home be full of warmth, your heart full of gratitude, and your tree full of sparkle.

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

We are off to our new design project.
