We were thrilled to select the theme of A Fête at Downton Abbey. The evening was full of surprises from the wonderful grab bags from Kendra Scott to the delicious appetizers from Patagonia Grill and the signature cocktail served out from a Cambria bar.
The ballroom was beautiful when we threw open the doors. Lace adorned the oval tables and chairs. Fluffy ostrich feathers added a historical note to the traditional white and blush rose centerpieces in crystal urns and candelabras. Small votives flickered everywhere.
There were photo ops galore with a step and repeat, a photo booth and many attendees in period attire. We had an authentic English butler assist as host and classical and ragtime music during dinner. Dinner followed tradition as well with Beef Wellington and trifle for dessert.
After the presentations and live auction, folks flocked to check their bids at the silent auction. The rest of us enjoyed dancing the night away to Louis Lamb and the Gentle Lamb experience.
We are so grateful to our many friends, clients, vendors, and supporters who contributed greatly to the evening and made the Fête a smashing success!
