The before and after photos of interiors we’ve designed can speak volumes. That said, our clients’ expressions when they see their personalities captured in their homes are priceless.
This recent project started with bare white walls, giving us a lot of opportunities. The white, coffered ceiling above the breakfast area was prime for color. Really Teal 6489 by Sherwin Williams gave the visual punch we sought. The client had already selected the light fixture, which played well hung from the teal ceiling feature. The tall ceilings were quite an asset.
We dressed the windows with a light fabric that features a wavy, energetic design. With geometric shapes trending in interior design, we gave the home a modern look with interesting shapes on the backs of the breakfast chairs, the living room’s tabletop, accent tables and pillows. We love the curved seat of this upholstered chair and without clunky chair arms, this piece contributes to the open floorplan. The hung artwork even repeats the turquoise and coral tones as well as the flowing curves seen throughout the home.
Teal was also repeated in the sofa and the painted bookshelves that flank the fireplace, truly pulling together this open space.
Would you be open to using bold color in your home or office? We’d love to hear from you.

I love the teal color and how cool to use that vibrant color on the ceiling accent.
