A few weeks ago, I headed east to High Point, North Carolina for the annual High Point Market. Designers from near and far gathered to catch up and discuss the latest in interior design trends.
One of the more prominent trends was the use of gold in design! I love the sleek, glamorous look of gold, but my favorite aspect is its versatility. Here are just a few of my new favorite uses of gold:
Lighting
Gold lighting fixtures are the perfect addition to any space! A gold floor lamp, table lamp or a pair of single sconce fixtures will give your space added glam.

Accent pillows are a great way to elevate your décor. Mix and match different gold patterns and textures to create a multi-dimensional look.
Trinkets and smaller accessories
Bookends, vases and funky accessories are great for adding a pop of gold to your space.

Wallpaper is very on trend right now! Go for a striped, floral or Moroccan print wallpaper to add pizzazz to your walls.
