After a little bit of R&R, Danna and I are back to work! We have enjoyed moving some of our favorite families into their new abodes, while sprucing up numerous areas around the house for other clients.
We’ve been busy putting together window treatments and they’ve been a big hit with our clients! One client told us she loved her new window treatments so much, that she was considering adding more windows to her home just so we could design more treatments for them!
Last week, my mother came to town for a quick visit. It’s always nice when she visits! As luck would have it, she was here for my sorority’s Founders’ Day luncheon. Phi Mu Fraternity was founded on March 4, 1852, making it the second oldest sorority in the United States. Phi Mu loves honoring the rich history of sisterhood and philanthropy and it was so great being able to share this with my mom.
Get your planners out and save the date! PHD will be unloading some treasures over the weekend at the annual Rice Military Garage Sale. The sale will be held this Saturday, March 12 from 8 a.m. to noon. Lots of houses will have sales and you can walk or bike from location to location. You can find a list of all the participating houses here. It’s always fun and you’ll never know what goodies you’re going to find. Come by our house, 5217 Blossom Street, Unit C, for designer furnishings, antiques, pillows, area rugs, plumbing, lighting supplies and more. We hope to see you there!
