We have been keeping very busy as always at Pamela Hope Designs. We continued working on client projects while moving into our new offices! Now it’s time to sort everything out and get ourselves organized!

We have made great progress with installations for our suburban clients.  Our Friendswood family has lived in their home for about 10 years and asked us for updates without large scale remodeling.  We started with furniture and window treatments in the family room and lighting throughout the main areas.  We selected unique chandeliers and pendant lights for the family room and kitchen and a wonderful chandelier and mini chandelier for her master bedroom and bath.  Everyone is delighted with how this has freshened up the house. Take a look at photos of some of the light fixtures below.

Our favorite Cypress client had her entry dome faux finished in a soft gold, cream and silver finish. It looks fantastic and she was so pleased that she is wanting to paint some additional areas in the home. We can’t wait!

On the home front, my daughter Taylor is first chair and the piccolo player in the top band at Deer Park High School.  She was recognized for her musical achievement at their recent band banquet. And, my daughter Mia (pictured below), had her art displayed at the O’ Kane Gallery in downtown Houston and was also recognized for her accomplishments in front of our district school board. I am just so proud of my girls!

Pamela left for Toronto today to attend a color seminar.  We select literally thousands of paint colors a year so Pamela had been wanting to do some continuing education.  She reported that it is nearly the same temperature as Houston (upper 80’s although they say 29) which seems odd since she is so far north.  Before the class starts, she and her friend, Melanie Murphy, a designer from Boston who is also attending the course, will visit Niagara Falls.  Something they both had on their bucket lists!

Whether you are moving into a new home, updating your current home, finishing your school year or traveling the world, keep in mind that the possibilities are endless.  Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Until next time, keep your creative juices flowing!

Danna
